Milano Prime, the new Business & General Aviation Terminal of Malpensa international airport, managed by SEA Prime, was inaugurated yesterday, 23 July 2019. The company ranked first in Italy and fifth in Europe in the Business & General Aviation market has called, for this important intervention, Ponzi Automatic Doors with whom it has a consolidated collaboration. The new terminal is spread over an area of ​​approximately 1,400 square meters and is characterized by precious finishes for common areas and reserved lounges, which will welcome arriving and departing passengers and crews. Ponzi has created the entire supply of automatic doors: from the main entrance, to the doors for internal controls and internal security filters. For the main entrance, Ponzi TOS automatic doors were used, enabled for emergency exit and compass-installed to optimize the internal temperature of the hall and eliminate atmospheric changes. Inside, instead, for the elegant and refined spaces, for a total of about 300 square meters, doors with an acid-etched glass solution have been installed, with reduced dimensions of the mechanism to underline the image of contemporary luxury, and of style, designed to offer passengers and crews maximum comfort before the departure of their flight. The automatic door in its essentiality will become a symbol of luxury and of the new 'frontier' of General Aviation. The different requests and sectoral needs of airport construction are the subject of study and research by Ponzi which satisfies its peculiarities with suitable products compatible with the most current regulations issued at national and international level, such as the Community Machinery Directive and Law 81/2008 on safety for escape and emergency routes.
