The first Obi store in Liguria was inaugurated in La Spezia in recent days, built by recovering the former degraded Sio area. Ponzi designed, manufactured and installed the automatic doors, the U.S. swing doors, the fixtures and the curtain walls. From an architectural point of view, the intervention wanted to maintain part of the original style, reconstructing the old 1930s office building in the same style to preserve its memory, with thermal break Ponzi frames with internal shaped shutters, enhancing the historical complex. In the new store, Ponzi has created 4-leaf TOS automatic sliding doors with anti-panic system for an escape route and TSA TOS 2+1 telescopic automatic sliding doors with two movable leaves and one fixed one, also enabled as an escape route by pressure manual, installed in the entrances and internal compartments of the shop and offices. The continuous façade made of uprights and transoms with silver profiles and satin PVB double glazing was created to provide greater internal brightness and greater harmony of the architectural complex. Ponzi, a reference company in the Italian window frames and automatic entrances sector, participates in the opening of the new Obi store in La Spezia, the only one in the entire Liguria region.
