Ponzi automatic doors with RX screens delimit hospital areas with exposure to x-rays: analysis laboratories, plaster room, diagnostic radiology, TAC room, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy and dentistry, operating areas.
Ponzi provides a wide range of solutions as at diversity of function, environment and hospital layout require different types of intervention.
The application of the RX shielding is therefore referable to a wide range of doors:
- AST and PST sealed doors
- PSE sealed doors
- ALU PANEL interior doors
The purpose of radiation shielding is to limit the exposure of workers and the public an acceptable level. Ponzi doors have a 1-2 mm lead foil shielding, full height from floor to ceiling, guaranteeing a continuity solution to the wall.
The Anti-X visuals are composed of a crystal with lead equivalence and are inserted in a frame with a lead foil interposed, thus avoiding the escape of radiation.
