For the main entrances and the Emergency Department, Ponzi proposes the TOS 2R door: automatic sliding door with two leaves, which avoids contagion from contact with hands. Suitable for installation on escape routes with certificate of suitability for fire brigade emergency exit.
The TOS "Total Opening System" anti-panic device allows the entire compartment to be opened with only manual pressure, to facilitate the passage of stretchers, people with reduced mobility, bulky material and to remove architectural barriers.
The entrances can be used as one-way streets and regulate the entry or exit of health personnel.
